Peer Education Training of Trainers: This course is currently being offered by Rutgers WPF . The course equips Peer Educators to engage, educate, empower and encourage vulnerable and marginalized young people in their communities who lack in knowledge about their health issues and can’t access to the services related to their Sexual and Reproductive Health issues in their communities.
This e-course will have a total of 3 modules; participants at their own pace can complete each module. A participant will only graduate from the course upon passing of a short assessment.
MODULE 1: From Theory to Practice in Peer Education - reviews the deﬁnition of peer education and its rationale and value in the context of different behaviour change theories and models.
MODULE 2: Guidelines for Trainers: A Curriculum provides the outline of a suggested three-day training of trainers workshop.
MODULE 3: A Sample Peer Education Session on HIV/AIDS presents an example of a peer education activity for use in the ﬁeld. It describes a three- to four-hour HIV/AIDS education session that can be presented to a group of participants. This will also include participant Handouts that will be used in the three-day training.
Developing Youth-Friendly Sexual Reproductive Health services’
has been developed to improve the knowledge and skills of health care providers towards providing good quality sexual and reproductive health services for adolescents in order to contribute towards increasing access to and utilization of health services by young people. The objective of this consultancy is to convert this manual into an online training e-course.

Module 1: Introduction/Overview of the E-course and Introduction to Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Issues
Module 2: Building Capacity of Health Care Providers - This module will include exercises which the participants will have to conduct with at least two colleagues, the assignment will be to post the result of the exercise online
Module 3: Building Capacity – Providing Support services – Will include the process of developing a functional referral & monitoring system for youth-focused services, including case-studies
